நேற்று நடைபெற்ற உலகக்கோப்பை போட்டி ஃபைனல் என்பதால் உலகத்தில் உள்ள அனைத்து கிரிக்கெட் ரசிகர்களும் ஆர்வத்துடன் இருந்தார்கள், நேற்றைய உலக கோப்பை போட்டியில் நியூசிலாந்து அணியும் இங்கிலாந்து அணியும் மோதிக் கொண்டன இதில் நியூசிலாந்து அணி 50 ஓவர் முடிவில் 241 ரன்கள் எடுத்திருந்தது.
